The Big-Hump Hash House Harriers of the St Louis metro area are hosting their Bungle in the Jungle 2016 campout at their, so-called, Camp Bungle in the descriptively named Steelville, Missouri. Camp commences from 12-14 August, 2016 and gets you fed all three days, beer, trails, float trip (canoeing/rafting), free stuff, indoor bed or outdoor area for your tend, hot tub, and volleyball.
Cost to rego now until 15 June is $85; from 16 June is $95, from 1 July $105, and from 1 August is $115. There’s a lot of math in the registration: if you’re skipping the float trip, subtract $20 and if you’re taking an indoor bed, add $25.
The web site recommends that you bring the following:
- Your own CANNED beverages for the float trip
- Flashlight
- Lawn chair
- Towels
- Extra shoes
- Bug Spray
- Sunblock
- Lanterns
- Do not bring your dignity, because you are bound to lose it!
Plus your tent if you’re camping/bedding if you’re staying indoors. .
